Q: Why did you create Will’s Magic Mailbox?
A: I am increasingly sickened by social media, I love connecting with people, love sending fun mail, and have been itching to stretch my artistic muscles outside of music. And so, I have created Will’s Magic Mailbox!
Q: Who are you anyway? Are you this “Will Bjorndal” person?
A: Yes. I am William “Will” Bjorndal (born December 22, 1995), a musician from Minnesota, USA. I am the founder and primary songwriter of experimental power pop band Prairie Clamor. I have also performed and recorded as a children’s artist under the moniker Will Sings Songs since 2019. I have also been and/or am a naturalist, bee researcher, and public radio DJ. I would like to send you fun mail!
Q: Why should I subscribe to this if I don’t know EXACTLY what I’ll be getting in each mailment?
A: Because mysteries and surprises are fun!
Q: Why does this cost money? Where does the money go?
A: Subscriptions cover the costs of paper, printing, envelopes, postage, and other supplies. $20 is not much more than the amount that I expect to spend on supplies and postage for each subscription. I’m a full-time artist, but this is meant to be a “fun thing on the side;” I aim to keep costs low and hope to break even!
Q: “Hope to break even?” Woof! You really are an artist! I happen to be an incredibly generous person. Can I give you more than $20 if I want?
A: Sure can! Just follow the subscription link and enter an amount greater than $20. But you don’t have to!
Q: What if I don’t have $20 but I would still like to experience the Magic of Will’s Magic Mailbox?
A: Send some snail mail to the PO box listed above and I will respond in kind! :)
Q: I love your children’s music as Will Sings Songs! Is Will’s Magic Mailbox family friendly?
A: Will’s Magic Mailbox is generally created with grown-ups in mind, but could be fun for cool parents and their cool kiddos! I mean, heck, I play children’s music for a living; things are bound to be wholesome most of the time. So don’t expect much or any R-rated content, but it could certainly get PG-13-y from time to time.
